Nick is a lifetime resident of Portland, Oregon, and a graduate of Western Oregon University. While at WOU, he studied Accounting and Economics, participating in the school's basketball program in his spare time.
Before entering the financial services industry, Nick worked as a Police Officer with the Portland Police Bureau. It was this drive to help people that naturally led him to become a financial planner.
In May of 2009, Nick lost his daughter Sophia, on the day of her birth. Through this experience, Nick has learned the importance of planning for the future. While you cannot change the events that occur, with proper planning and preparation, you can alter the overall impact they have on your life moving forward.
Nick earned his Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) designation and is currently enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) program with the American College. He resides in Happy Valley with his wife Carrie, son Walt, and dog Rylee.
